Sarah Harris

Sarah started her journey into Performing Arts 16 years ago right here at Telford stage school.

She went On to gain her HND in performing arts along with her grades in a wide range of dance styles. She has had performances in many Theatres across the region with her lead pantomime roles being her favourite.

Sarah furthered her career into the teaching of performing arts at the age of 22 and gained a degree in childcare and development and she has been delivering lessons and producing shows ever since.

Sarah has directed and produced scripts for amateur drama competitions and won a number of categories, she has also trained dance groups to enter into regional dance competitions winning a variety of categories with her work.

She has taken teams to perform at Alton Towers and perform alongside Diversity at an outdoor dance event.

Sarah has been Principal for 10 years at a Theatre school and has managed a large team of students and Directed many big productions.

Sarah is a well established Performing Arts teacher at many primary schools in Telford and Wrekin, teaching PPA PE dance sessions and after school clubs. She also works at some of the Telford and Wrekin schools directing and producing their summer productions and year 6 leavers shows.

Sarah is an experienced teacher who has a great passion and nurture towards her lessons. She believes that performing arts can be a great building block for all children, allowing their innovation and imagination to evolve their self esteem. Her strength is in being able to adapt her sessions to suit all children that attend no matter where they are on the confidence ladder.

Sarah is looking forward to working at TSS again to bring her experience and knowledge to the students there.
